You’ve heard of day creams and night creams, but what about change of season creams? Allow us to introduce you to a whole new, and highly timely, beauty category. Facialist Anastasia Achilleos has been taking this tack for years, and always recommends her clients have a facial at the start of every season, and we’ve gathered up our pick of transitional face creams that will lighten up your skin care regime beautifully. Lancome’s HydraZen Neurocalm Cream-Gel, £35.50, is a dead cert for summer, whilst Sisley’s Crème Hydrante with Cucumber, £87.50, has an instant cooling effect that works a charm day-to-day but can also be a sunburn saviour on holiday. Dior’s new Hydra Life Pro-Youth range have launched a ‘Sorbet Crème’, £40, as part of the collection to cater for those who want a ‘whipped-up’ mousse to moisturiser the skin – what could be more summery than that?
